Villa Oasis Residence is situated approximately 60 km from Catania Airport and Reggio Calabria on the mainland. Amenities in the Mazzeo area include a good public transport service and the cable car to the historical centre of Taormina in only 5 minutes drive away.
Thanks to its avantageous position, Villa Oasis is the ideal departure point for many tourist trips in interesting places for culture and panorama: Etna volcan, Alcantara gorges, Catania, Caltagirone, Siracuse, Noto, Agrigento, Piazza Armerina and the Eolian islands.

Ideal to reach Giardini Naxos, Taormina and Letojanni. Leaving Catania with the Interbus along the highway A18. You will arrive at the terminal bus station of Taormina. To reach Villa Oasis Residence Taormina Sea / Mazzeo, you must make a change of bus. The distance from the center of Taormina to Villa Oasis Residence is about 10-15 minutes.
This route is also recommended for those who arrive with the ship to the port of Catania. Leaving the port immediately in front of you, you will found “arches”, passing under one of them and continuing for a few meters to the left you will find the bus stop.
If you arrive to Taormina by plane, the nearest airport is the international airport of Catania – Fontanarossa (55 kms from Taormina), where flights arrive from the main Italian airports and several European cities. Reached Catania it is easy to reach Taormina by car: cross the highway A18 direction Messina for about an hour – exit in Taormina.
From the Central Station of Catania you can reach:
the train station of Giardini-Taormina in about 1 hour, to reach Villa Oasis Residence you must take a bus or a taxi (15 minutes).
the train station of Letojanni in about 1 hour and 10 minutes, situated approximately 13 minutes walk from Villa Oasis Residence.
If you arrive by car from the northern Italy you have to take the highway A1 till Naples-Salerno: from here you can take the highway A3 that leads you to Reggio Calabria. Exit at Villa San Giovanni-Sicily and head down to the harbour where you can get to Messina thanks to one of the many ferries, and it’s almost done! Once you reached Messina take the A18 direction Catania and you will be in just half an hour in Taormina.
However, if you arrive from Catania, you have to take the highway A18 direction Messina. If you arrive from Palermo, you must take the A20 till Messina and then the A18 direction Catania.
